"didn't wanna play live songs to tape" yall are a band!!! Of instrumentalists and vocalists!!! That's what you do!!! I understand growing and changing artistically and pursuing new musical ideas... But damn, yall had to know your old fan base was not gonna jive with this record... Even the album name, golden age implies a new technological electronic sound... Yall went from one of my favorite, most listened to bands, to a band where I won't even give you a chance anymore... You all were absolutely one of the best, authentic things going... This is NOT a Houndmouth album. Change the band name if you guys are going to drop members and completely change the sound. Capitalizing on the Houndmouth name to release a hack Daft Punk/MGMT album is lame. Take a look at Damon Albarns career if you want to experiment the correct way.
