If you’re doing a photoperiod plant you’ll just veg it out for however long you want depending on what size you want the plants to be. During Veg you’ll want to set the lights on a timer of 18hrs on and 6 hrs off. When you’re at a point when you’re ready to start flower switch the timer to 12hrs on and 12hrs off this’ll start the flowering process for the plants. The genetics of the plant will vary the flowering time. Some plants finish fast and others take longer to finish, so it could take between 7-12 weeks of flower.

Also watch some tips on YouTube for how to grow. There’s many techniques for growing and training your plants just go with whatever is best for you. I’d recommend starting with LST or low stress training and then from there go to HST or high stress training techniques. They’ll improve your overall yield. As for quality genetics play a big part of that so make sure you get quality clones and seeds! I recommend watching Canuk grows and Build a Soil for growing. There’s a ton of other great growers out there too 👍🏼

Essentials for growing:
Light intensity, light distance, and light timing
-light intensity and light distance should be in the directions of the light
-get a light timer and for veg keep it at a 18/6 light cycle 18 hours on 6 off, for flower use a 12/12 light cycle and do not give them light during their sleep and try to prevent light leak
Airflow
- you want to make sure your plants have fresh not stale air
— use an exhaust fan (for your tent get a 4inch one I suggest ac infinity the one that controls temp and humidity they sponsor too!)
- you also want to get a clip fan or two and make it so they plants shake a little it promotes stem strength meaning it can hold more bud
Humidity
-humidity is fine in veg but once it flowers you want very little humidity (or you may get mold) a dehumidifier is perfect to prevent mold
Cleanliness
-Ofc cleaner is better so pick up dead leaves
-Get a natural pest deterrent trifecta is a tried and true brand
