Loved the ML, the FL, the FL's brother, the ML's bodyguards. I was a bit confused in the beginning when the FL was trying to kill the ML & the ML having six wives who died. Six wives!! They explained it near the end the story. Cute ending. Especially how much the ML loved the FL & the back story of the couple. ❤

This is a very enjoyable romantic drama. The romance and chemistry was great! One big problem I had was that the English translations were not good. There were times when what is said in the translation made no sense at all. So I was very confused about a lot of aspects of the story, like those newspapers they kept on releasing, and the details of the old scandal involving the death of some general. But I fast forwarded and still really enjoyed this a lot. I sure would love to understand Chinese.
