I look forward to seeing how this album translates into a show! Sonically, this is a really interesting album and deserves to become timeless as are the themes you are touching on. I will be pouring over the credits (glad to see names I recognise from the Bristol scene!) for this album as it is beautifully engineered, the players really mesh together as if it were a live take but most of all, that voice - calm but powerful. 'Cut My Roots' beautifully captures that dynamic and 'Beacon' is part nature poem and the best alternative to a jazz vocal I have heard! Inspired and inspiring.
