This song is not only about dogs, but the meaning could be used towards best friends who are always there for you regardless. And it reminds me of my awesome friends who never left my side and continue to support me and care for me. I am so blessed to have them in my life. <3

When I first heard this song I thought this was about our pets never letting us down and how they love us unconditionally (my own selfishness)....Now I know it's really the other way around.....this song is about us never letting anyone down, let alone those we love..we should love everyone unconditionally! If humans weren't so ignorant we'd learn so much from animals. Those who volunteer their time to help animals are true heroes....
We should all live with the attitude of......."I'm never gonna let you down. I'm always going to build you up. When you're feeling lost I will always find you love. I'm never gonna walk away. I'm always going to have your back. And if nothing else you can always count on that. When you need me I promise I will never let you down"...instead of the attitude of, "What have you done for me lately". It really isn't that hard to be the good in the world.

I'm an introvert person so I find it hard to be friends with other people but I always felt comfortable and happy with pets, especially dogs. I wish I'll be rich someday so me and my dogs will be living comfortable life :-)

This song always brings tears to my eyes. This came out when I was going through a very tough time in my life and this song always reminds me of how my siblings, and even more so, my mother were there for me and their love is the only reason I'm alive today. They came to my side without hesitation and without that I would have given into my depression and had nothing to live for. I love them and can't thank them enough for what they did and this songs always reminds me how much they mean to me.

I thought of our american bulldog Kaylee when I first heard these lyrics this morning. We had to put her down Saturday and its so incredibly unreal. I miss her so so much. She was our world. Still our world even in her passing. She embodied kindness,innocence, and love until the moment she closed her eyes for the last time.
