Last year I worked at my local Spirit Halloween in October for some extra money and because I love halloween. While I was there I worked with this older man who was very nice and helpful. I hadn't talked to him much when I worked there but the day of Halloween we started chatting there and I told him I was going into the Air Force after my semester of community college was done and turns out he was former Air Force himself. He was telling me some crazy stories until he finally got onto D.B. Cooper. He said that one day he was in the office at his base. I forget where he was stationed but I assume it was somewhere Northwest where the incident happened. He said the phone rings and he picks it up. Immediately, the person on the other end says to put his supervisor on the phone. So, the man I knew calls for his supervisor and he takes the phone. The call lasts for a couple of minutes and his boss hangs up. He tells me he asked what "all that" was about and turns out it was the FBI who was ordering them to get the parachutes that D.B. Cooper was negotiating for. Pretty crazy.

I live in the area and have followed the case since the day it happened. Everything about Kenneth Christiansen totally adds up. That "he didn't fit the description" doesn't ring true since everyone has ways of altering their appearance, especially given some amount of time. Brother's suspicion, flight purser for the same airline Cooper hijacked, experienced paratrooper, bought a house with cash in a briefcase that amounted to almost exactly the amount Cooper took, smoked the same brand of cigarettes and drank the same liquor as Cooper. Doesn't explain the cash that was found on the Washington state beach, though.

What I find hilarious is that Cooper stole $200,000, 50 years ago. Iām willing to bet that investigators have spent way more than $200,000 in investigations. Thatās like spending $100 trying to find the $5 you lostš
At some point youād think theyād just give up and accept that itās gone lol. If he was in his 40ās at the time of the robbery like they suggest, heād be in his 90ās now, so heās either a really old man now..or he passed away years ago. They need to just congratulate the man and call it quitsš¤·āāļø

Have y'all seen that kidnapping case where the girl studied her kidnapper, got a perfect sketch of him in her eyes, and still chose the wrong suspect? That could've happened here in my opinion. If you see a dude with a bomb you will obviously be a little frantic but I don't know if they were. If so it could be the reason.

7:03 āthe charge against Cooper was originally air piracyā then proceeds to put an eyepatch on to the shadowy figure idk why but hilarious š

I love how D.B Cooper's reputation just went downhill in this episode. He started of as this cool mysterious guy, and ended with him being some idiot wearing loafers who probably cried like a baby when he was parachuting. Nice.
