This song makes me feel so many emotions, it's so comforting, it's so sad, it's so beautiful.. It's like loving someone, and the beautiful game of love that's still worth playing even though you're gonna lose because you'll always lose each other one way or another with time. No I'm not crying, it's just raining on my face.

This whole song is beautiful but there is something extra magical about 4:18. I love how haunting her voice sounds when she's singing lower.

Playing this at my wedding, the part where she says āeven tho weāre gonna loseā reminds of how you promise to be together until death parts you, youāll die in the end but itās still worth spending your life together. I watched my father pass away and me, my mom and my fiancĆ© were by his side and he was in a room absolutely full of love - thatās marriage š

Sheās extremely talented and iconic. Why the hell isnāt she super-famous (long before getting a lot of curiosity clicks because of her relationship). Itās so rare these days to find artists that write their lyrics, mix their own beats, style themselves, direct their own videos, are responsible for their own creative development and personal ābrandā all in a badass edgy artistic way... most of the artists we actually get exposed to today arenāt even āartistsā they are talented (maybe) at one or two of those aspects and the rest gets manufactured for them. Sheās a captivating person- I canāt wait to see the next look, hear the next song, watch the next video etc šš»

Fun fact: Claire's (Grimes' real name) original idea for the title of this track is 'Adore You' (as with the chorus). But she wanted a cooler one and kept thinking for one. Then a friend told her it sounded like 'Idoru': the book by Wiliam Gibson about this A.I. girl or something. Claire, of course, thought it cool. But what's really cool was the book was dedicated to a woman named Claire too! It was the author's wife. So Claire felt like it was a sign from a simulation as she said in an interview and used it as the final title!
