If you look at 2:51, the judge makes a gesture with his arms, in a way he looks like he's hugging himself. That's something we do when we feel touched and vulnerable, so for a 17 year old that is able to make a grown up man to feel vulnerable with her music, that is gold, and it's so beautiful.
