I was fortunate enough growing up to spend a few summers skateboarding and riding bikes around Manhattan, Redondo and Hermosa beaches. Four of us. Two on boards two on bikes. During the summer, mom would leave me a buck or two on the table. Enough to feast at the Taco Bell, literally built in the sand. It was a great time in my life. Although much further South now days. I still enjoy getting to at least view the great Pacific. Almost daily. But when I hear Beach Boys, I'm 14 again, got 2 bucks in my pocket and a endless summer ahead of me.
