Just compare this to Summer sonic the year after. Honestly his voice changed a lot over the years. 2001 was not the same as 2004 just as 2007 was not the same as 2008 but when it came to the overall sound you can divide it to sections. 2000-2005 is one of those. 2006-2009 was the smoother vocals with additional rasp when he wanted to. his voice really seemed to settle for the better in this era. 2010 was a transition and 2011-2013 he had a darker more metallic tone and his pitch was probably at its most stable. this is also the last period you could consider his prime before his voice started to degrade slowly. 2014-2017 is the final era. It changed up and down especially in 2015 but overall it is the metallic tone of the previous era but more course, not so connected, now raspy but not in the old way and he mostly just lacked the stamina of previous years! Prime screaming Chester was 2006. Look up "2006.08.15" and listen to the scream at the end of "From the inside" is all i am saying. Singing wise i would say 2007 was best of both worlds and for just clean singing it would have to be European tour and early Honda Civic tour 2012!
