no bc im literally so confused about my gender. i’d rather be unlabelled, but it’s so hard. i hear terms like “sir, man, boy” everyday. also, im persian, and in persian culture calling your children “my son/daughter” is super fucking common. im just tired of it. like coming out to my parents as gay was so hard and i cried a lot, there’s no way they could ever know that i dont want to be called a man. but im saying this to say that it feels nice to see someone who doesn’t know their gender and who doesn’t want to know. like thats so cool, gender labels make it hard for me to go unlabelled. anyways, ty for doing what you do, ily <3

The idea of coming out to my entire family terrified me. I have a heavily religious Mexican family that meant coming out would probably result in my family cutting me off and no longer being able to participate in family traditions. I've recently been coming to terms that I will probably never come out to them. I don't owe them that. I love my family and although I wish for them to accept me, I rather have them stay in my life.

the point about labels really hit home for me as someone who's recently been figuring out my gender. I feel more inclined to label myself but if you don't of course that should be completely up to you and we support you no matter what <3
it's also great for those who feel the same way about labels to feel like they are understood x

10:17 I couldnt agree more. Same with teenage depression, it seems to be seen as "just hormones, you will get over it" which, even when true, invalidates peoples feelings.
