“Your sexuality does not depend on someone’s else’s opinion of it” THISSS so true and definitely something I need to have more confidence in

My and my ex boyfriend broke up because I identified as gender-fluid and didn’t care what pronoun people referred me to

I appreciate you talking about your gender (or possibly lack there of). Not using labels can be very freeing, and it should be totally normalized. Congrats to coming to your realizations and feeling comfortable enough to speak on it 🤍

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with adjusting the labels for your sexuality or gender. As we age people evolve and all that matters is you a comfortable in your own identity.(not having labels is totally okay too!)

no bc im literally so confused about my gender. i’d rather be unlabelled, but it’s so hard. i hear terms like “sir, man, boy” everyday. also, im persian, and in persian culture calling your children “my son/daughter” is super fucking common. im just tired of it. like coming out to my parents as gay was so hard and i cried a lot, there’s no way they could ever know that i dont want to be called a man. but im saying this to say that it feels nice to see someone who doesn’t know their gender and who doesn’t want to know. like thats so cool, gender labels make it hard for me to go unlabelled. anyways, ty for doing what you do, ily <3

Literally the best advice I've gotten is the back of a cereal box saying if you smile that makes you happier. That day I was down and I tried just smiling in the mirror ended up cracking up about how ridiculous I look and now i smile every day at everything cuz it just actually makes me happy

The idea of coming out to my entire family terrified me. I have a heavily religious Mexican family that meant coming out would probably result in my family cutting me off and no longer being able to participate in family traditions. I've recently been coming to terms that I will probably never come out to them. I don't owe them that. I love my family and although I wish for them to accept me, I rather have them stay in my life.

Ugh, I am so in love with the idea of just being who you are without labels. Personally as a trans guy, I'm pretty firm on my gender identity, but my sexual and romantic orientation ?? man idk, I'm just living

Why do you look good in every color? I'm jealous because if I wear orange I'll look like I came out from jail lmao.

the point about labels really hit home for me as someone who's recently been figuring out my gender. I feel more inclined to label myself but if you don't of course that should be completely up to you and we support you no matter what <3 it's also great for those who feel the same way about labels to feel like they are understood x

from a transmasc nonbinary, gender is a never ending personal journey so you should never feel ashamed to adjust labels or identities as you go on. i hope your journey continues to be fulfilling & full of love !

you bring such a unique and nuanced view towards sexuality and gender, frederic - it’s really great to see someone else who doesn’t really want to be hyper-labeled and who has been experimenting with their gender so thank you! love your channel so much. 💕💕💕

no matter your label or if you decide to not give yourself one, as long as you're unapologetically being you, i think you're doing quite well :D

Hey Frederic- I’ve been struggling for awhile with labels and I’m inspired by you to try out just not labelling my gender, because I don’t need to know!

10:17 I couldnt agree more. Same with teenage depression, it seems to be seen as "just hormones, you will get over it" which, even when true, invalidates peoples feelings.

I'm also pronoun indifferent! Nice to see another person that feels that way about pronouns. Strong pronoun preferences are valid, shifting pronoun preferences are valid, and pronoun indifference is valid :)
