8:30 Being self critical is part of being an artist. People pay good money in art school to have professors critique their paintings so they can learn to critique themselves.

I just watch the how to colour potraits with gouache. I love how you blend the colours with colours that aren't traditionally found in skin like grey, blues and green with actual skin colour to add dimension in your portraits. You do the same with your coloured pencils and I am going to watch that video next. I love that style and what you're doing with your stuff.

This sketchbook tour was lovely! I follow many artists on social media, but there is only a handful that I actively look up every week to see what new content they've uploaded. You became one of those artists VERY quickly. Your art inspires me so much, I even bought the col-erase pencils because I wanted to start practicing color but I'm too scared to use regular colored pencils. Keep up the good work! I know I enjoy it a ton! Greetings from Chile 💜

Your art is gorgeous! I'm getting back into art after a few years away, struggling with stuff. I realized for me that art does not happen in a vacuum. I need and find inspiration and joy from seeing others processes and happened to stumble on this video while tumbling down the art rabbithole. How you use colored pencils is really amazing and not something I've really seen before!

You are SO inspirational! The amount of shear motivation and talent which went into this sketchbook is truly remarkable! Your style is so consistent and beautiful and you can really tell you put a bit of yourself in every page. Also, the fact you can create amazing art while having fun? I am in awe! I absolutely love how you can critique your art in areas you want to improve on — it’s a very positive mindset as well as a skill! Thank you for inspiring me to make my own art and helping other artists out there! ❤
