I'd love to hear your thoughts in a video regarding para-social relationships with social media figures. I feel like therapists may potentially find themselves in a similar situation professionally. The YouTuber CJ the X approaches the subject very aggressively, emphasizing to the audience that we are not friends. I find this approach really refreshing.

What's your opinion on touch? A touchy subject to be sure! But if a client is sobbing, spiraling, needs consoling... Is it inappropriate to hold them? To hug them? Should a therapist keep their distance? I'm just curious! All of my therapy sessions are over Zoom, so this isn't really applicable to me, but what would the correct course of action be? I think gender is definitely an important consideration. I wouldn't want a man touching me, but a comforting woman might be different. I wonder what all contributes to that.
