I'm happy to see you're sharing personal collections of music you enjoy.
As well as the fantastic older school electronic music which you listened to first.
Setting sail, for beginning your Astral Dude travels. Hearing sounds created by
older analog or digital synths is something I miss in music...and takes me down memory lane.
Gary Numan, Kraftwerk, and Front 242 are some of the first artists whose music I couldn't quit listening to.
It was hard to find any styles of music I liked growing up before the internet age.
Add to that: I lived in Augusta, Georgia -- it's hard to find good electronic music in a southern US town.
There were many music stores, but only one had a small selection of synthesizers for sale. Korg Z1 & Roland JP-8000
I was 16. And After saving paychecks from work bought the Korg Z1 for its extra polyphony and sound design capabilities.
