Nicholai straight up stole every scene he was in. From a villain standpoint his mannerisms & behavior really reminded me of Jean-Claude Van Damme's character in The Expendables 2, & in the sense both are narcissistic psychopaths that only care about themselves & money. RE3 remake is incredible. I'm currently playing it on Nightmare mode ๐ค๐ป๐

I don't believe Carlos would win a fight against Nikolai, realistically speaking. Nikolai is steps ahead. We are talking about a former Soviet soldier who served in the special units. He was HUNK's main rival and was older and more experienced than Carlos.

I love the dynamic between Jill and Nikolai in this game. It was great in the original, but they really took it to the next level in this one. You can really feel the disdain and psychological rivalry they have toward eachother in the inflections of their voice. But also a subtle mutual respect for eachother's tenacity. Great voice acting.

REmake Nicholai is so damn cool and deliciously evil that he rivals Albert Wesker as the most entertaining and best villain in the series. And know the best part? Nicholai canologically survives RE3 as state in the History of Resident Evil in RE5. While his situation in the remake is more ambiguous, you'll notice there's another helicopter present where he and Jill have their final stand off (10:06, look in the background). So considering he canologically survives, that means he STILL got away in the Remake. Holy shit
