Honestly, this is how a real animal would act, predators don't just shrug off being injured in order to kill something less than ¼ its own size, those crossbow bolts were dangerously close to hitting the Allosaurus's eye, and any sensible animal would know that would be a good time to cut its losses and run. If that girl got the Allosaurus in its eye, it'd be permanently disabled and its chances of survival would decrease dramatically.
