I am a lesbian and Iāve only had a total of 3 crushes on real life men. All 3 of them acted dressed and looked super feminine. I think one you forgot was the feeling of wanting men to be attracted to you but not necessarily being attracted to them . I still find myself doing this but as a kid if I saw a boy my age in public I would always try to make myself presentable or feel accomplished when guys noticed me. But when it came to deciding if they were attractive I always drew a blank. Another thing is if you confuse anxiety around men for butterflies. If you find yourself feeling nervous around men, especially the loud boisterous āmasculineā type, and you think itās butterflies, you might just be feeling anxious. I always found guys like that just a bit unnerving.

Attracted to "feminine" men. That describes my dating life up until now. Except now I don't know that I was necessarily sexually attracted at all, I always loved snuggling/cuddling, hand holding, etc, but I didn't enjoy much past that too well. I think for years and years I told myself that that was what kissing (and other things) were supposed to be like. And still only told myself I was Bisexual because the first party with alcohol I went to, all I wanted to do was make out with one of the girls there (I never in my entire life felt that way about making out with men, I kind of just tolerated it lol). But practically every man I have dated in my 30 years of being alive, have been "feminine-looking" to an extent. And about 4 or 5 of them actually were already bi or ended up being gay later on. It makes complete sense now.

Lesbian here. Been so for a while now. None of this happened to me... I grew up in a fairly conservative society. Getting into a heterosexual marraige was kind of considered a norm for me. So I did dream about it. I had "crushes" on traditionally "masculine" men. To be very honest, all of these gendered things that are mentioned are not indicators of your homosexuality. I am a complete femme myself. I love dresses and makeup and baking and women. So the only true way to find out if you're gay is to put yourself out there. To date and meet new people. Don't put yourself in a box. Be open to new experiences. You'll eventually figure it out. And if it turns out that you don't like being with a woman, that is ok too. Just because you like motorbikes, you don't automatically become a lesbian. Just because you like cooking doesn't ncecessarily mean you're straight. Just because you find a guy on TV cute doesn't mean that you would find him cute IRL (and vice versa). The only way to truly know if you like something (or someone) is to be open and honest with yourself and the other person. Try it.

One time my mom went on about marrying a man that will love you, and then she said "or a women" as she looked at me. It's like she had a feeling. . . Mothers know everything. . .

IS SHE GAY? š Need to know how to tell if a girl is gay? I got you. š https://youtu.be/HuwJiCsjj20 **Note on Number 6: A few people are getting this mixed up. If you genuinely like men who appear slightly more feminine, you are not a lesbian since they're still men. Please DON'T only use this sign to determine if you're gay. You must experience an attraction to women, so make sure you go through all the other signs to help figure out if you're lesbian
