Good video to raise awareness. These types of bars have been very common throughout much of Asia for many many years. Often the young ladies in these establishments are foreign to the host country and can be victims of human trafficking and employment scams. Unscrupulous club owners will take the girls' passports from them, pay them very little, and force them to work this way for long periods of time. Tragic all around, and best to avoid these places.

I am from Kathmandu , those who are watching this Karl is 100% correct. There are lots of stories from Locals as well about them being scammed and gang held at these Dance Bars. If you are tourist in Nepal these are must avoid place in Nepal . As a honest Nepalese it’s my duty to share it as well. If you really want to enjoy good music there are lots of Pub, Rock Bars, Live Music and Discos in Thamel

American here who has traveled to India and Nepal. I never went to these places as a Hare Krsna devotee, but I used to be in the U.S. Navy and saw this stuff happen a lot to sailors at port visits minus the extortion. Clubs with dancing young girls will drain your wallet in the best case scenario.

Sorry to all those tourist who got misbehaved and robbed. Some streets may have such people but believe me if you visit to local areas you will be served with one of the best hospitality in world. We people may not have modern massage or sth in remote areas but we have got excellent hospitality so please visit in places like ghandruk Mustang to experience real Nepal.❣️❤️love you everyone from Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵
