This is one of my favorite scenes from the movie. The whole movie is so dark and sometimes scary, but in this scene you forget about the darkness and it makes you smile. This scene brings out the light to this poor family and you can feel the love they have for each other, not to mention the love Ed and Lorraine share.

This is the first horror movie that makes me smile in a heartfelt way, even the feeling a bit teary. Any other horror movie that has me giddy is when an antagonist gets wrecked or some epic moment happens and even then, it doesnāt really leave an impact after Iām done with the movie. This scene however, I can still recall this more than most of the scenes in the movie. The song hits me in a more personal level, thereās a calm before the storm feel, the family who been facing poltergeist activity for the longest time gets some levity with the music that their dad took away.
