When RE was still great. Code Veronica is still my favorite entry regardless of the majority who complain about it for some odd reason. RE1- Code Veronica including zero (zero a little less) i have played and beaten at minimum 15 times each lol Loved the RE 1 remake, the 2 remake. The 3 remake was let down but its worth it when on sale for 50 percent off or more. Re 4 was great. Re4 remake was a masterpiece Re5 was an upset in comparison to 4 but had the most replay value imo so was fun for the spin but underwhelming compared to the previous main entries. 6... Well If i could rate it less than a 0 i would. Other than its somewhat fun co op play, I found nothing else nice to say about it and we shall leave it at that. 7... It felt like texas chainsaw massacre or hills have eyes sht and I liked it as its own game but again, wasnt RE in the slightest. Be honest, if they didnt slap the title on the game many people wouldnt know its a resident evil. However I still belueve it was a very well made game. 8. I enjoyed this better than 7. Once i installed the Ethan Winter pack for 3rd person mode; it actually felt like a RE and i enjoyed the little side quests on mini open worldness. So Im not going to be mean and trash this game. Again, all these newer entries should have just been made its own seperate entity. Even with RE4 and its retreat from racoon city and introduction to las plagas it still gave me enjoyment and I was ok with the evolution. Imo we should have ended the franchise there. But thats how these things go. What do you think? Whats your list look like?
