Ennio Morricone ist das größte musikalische Genie unserer Zeit gewesen. Ich bin glücklich, dass ich bei seiner farewell Tour dabei sein durfte.

La Moda instantly brightened up my day! Can't believe I'd never heard that song before, it's so good!! I never knew about this part of Morricone's work, it's all so good!

I tried to find this beauty on Apple Music to download but, surprise, surprise, it wasn’t there. So I went and pulled each of the individual tracks from each album and made my own playlist. Of course, I had trouble finding the final track (appropriately titled “L’Ultimo” from Ideato, Scritto e Diretto Da Ennio Morricone) because that album is out of print but luckily someone had it on YouTube so I was able to get it that way. So many great songs from the Maestro, he will always be loved and appreciated for generations to come.

Imagine that "Maddalena" was not a successful movie. I heard concert versions without voices, only the orchestra, and it was still catchy and breathtakingly beautiful. Morricone hadn't forgotten this score, and obviously still liked it, during his concert tour days.

What a major talent. He created so many amazing soundtracks. One of the greatest composers for the cinema. A lot of these are soundtracks that I have never even heard before. 😊Thank you for sharing this album.
