I’m really glad Joe is still here and recognizing he’s gotta take time for his mental health now from FOB and the public light, it’s a super hard thing to do speaking from experience. I hope he’s feeling better soon and knows how much we all care about him

Great interview! I'm glad to see that he's wrestled some demons and won and is still in the process of building his armour. Fall Out Boy will always have a special place in my heart as this was my daughter's first concert and, over a decade later she still goes to see them when they come to town. Thanks for the great memories that you've given to our family ❤

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting FOB multiple times and Joe was ALWAYS so lovely. He was so friendly and always so genuine. I’m sad he’s struggling with his mental health but I know he will get through this. I’m cheering loudly for you!

I used to have a band picture autographed by all four band members.
STORY TIME.
I was in the US Navy, active service at the time stationed in Pearl Harbor.
I was doing some work on board my ship and they came on board and toward my ship, USS Russell...2003 I believe.
I wasn't even aware that they were on the island, let alone coming to base, let alone coming to MY ship, lol
During their tour they came across me, dirty, filthy and I believe I was sanding the paint off of a wall, probably for no reason too, lol... and i, like I'm sure others on board the ship at the time, received an autographed black and white picture of the band.
I held on to that picture for quite a number of years, it made me smile everytime.
Unfortunately, I lost it in a storage shed fire in 2017
I was a big fan of the band then, The nostalgia still kicks in from time to time...
I'm very glad to hear that things have been well for them, the times have been hard on everyone.
I wish I still had the picture for my scrapbooks, also... Because people don't believe me when I tell them the above story, lol

Im tearing up I didn’t know Joe was struggling with mental health I hope he continues to do great because he’s raising beautiful daughters and you can see his love reflecting from his childhood. Despite heaing several of their songs on the radio, it took me a while to actually know the name of the band who made them. Looking into them now, I'm glad Joe seems like a pretty grounded guy and has been able to give proper attention to his mental health these days.
