This song makes me cry. I remember my mum used to love Mel C so much, she would play her album Northern Star all the time, it was her most loved possession. Everytime this song would play on the TV she would tell us all to shhh so she could watch it. Hearing this song again after a decade has brought tears to my eyes. I miss these moments in life, as a child I never understood, but now it's such powerful nostalgia. If only I could appreciate it more. Thank you Mel C for the memories ❤

This song helped me grieve for my brother whom l lost to suicide on 1 Aug 2000. This song came out soon after and the words and rhythm of this song really touched my heart. I remember feeling so alone in my grief, so helpless. All l could do was cry and cry. I played this song on repeat..... again, again and again until l could cry no more.
