Everyone saying you miss the old taylor, you miss her long straight hair, you miss her being more feminine, you miss her being sexy.... Taylor says "don't try for perfect it's never enough." She's clearly done just being rock's newest sex symbol. She's so much more than that. Proved it in this album. She's not a pop star. She probably got sick of all the questions in interviews about her style and appearance over the music.. She's almost weeding out real fans from gimmicky ones.. if you appreciate her musical talent, song writing talent etc, you'll dig the new album. She's on a path that i think is gaining more respect music wise and the band's audience is growing well past 16-20 year olds. Rock isn't dead, it's alive in this band and i think She's going to eventually be in the rock n roll hall of fame, when shes like 60 lol. Can't wait to hear all the music they come out with in that time span, hope they stick with it :D also, she's still sexy and i quite like her showing a more brash side that doesn't give a f*** lol

Her voice isn't ruined at all. She's singing/screaming like this because it captures the theme of this song. Self loathing, anger and hatred. The video represents the lyrics very well also. The split screen is supposed to make you feel a bit uncomfortable, kind of what you feel mentally. And it represents the left and right side of the brain.
I can't believe people are saying this video is bad because it's not on a high budget and even go as far as saying TPR isn't good because Taylor isn't a 'sex symbol' anymore. It's about the music, not their appearance. Y'all are crazy.

i like the fact that this song grows on you. the older i get the more tragic, the more humorous the more sincere it sounds. To be able to do that so early in her life really shows strong character.

these lyrics are really relatable. i fucking love this. and i love how badass the song is. its the rock that i came for and stayed for. its so rare now a days to still find good music like this. everybody is turning over to pop. and whatever is "in" at the moment. i love the message and the vibes that Taylor is sending us. it has a meaning. and its classic. i love that she's holding onto the true meaning of rock music.
