Again I have to comment here to because it's so deserving. There is something so subliminal and out of time here. It's like a distant great relative I never knew came back to life to tell me what it was like seeing the New York City skyline for the first time after an ocean voyage where several of their best companions were buried at sea. It's like understanding how good a holiday dinner must have tasted after working a 16-hour shift in a coal mine. There is something here that fights for life, that needs to live at any cost and etches itself into an Art Deco facade that transposes those expressions into timeless notes. It's the middle finger to post modernist's middle finger because it's all a circle anyway.
