La musique de Jungle modernise la soul pour un résultat ciselé, presque cérébral, mais terriblement dansant. Une musique à la fois luxuriante, solaire et charnelle qui puise dans les sons et manies d'artistes aussi emblématiques que Daft Punk, Chet Baker et Thom Yorke.
Jungle, c’est le projet Tom McFarland et Josh Lloyd-Watson. A eux deux, les Britanniques ont réussi l’un des plus gros casses musicaux de 2014. Impossible à l’époque de passer à côté de l’album Jungle, petite bombe portée par des singles redoutablement efficaces et des clips hyper léchés. Même recette et même résultat pour l’opus For Ever (2018) et le tout récent Loving in Stereo (2021) : on défie quiconque de ne pas se dandiner sur le hit "Keep Moving".
Le succès écrasant de Jungle contraste étonnamment avec la modestie et la candeur du duo à l'origine du phénomène. Depuis le début en effet, McFarland et Josh Lloyd-Watson ont l'habitude de se cacher, que ce soit derrière des pseudos ou un crew de danseurs époustouflants. Un désir (voire un besoin) de brouiller les pistes qui ne fait que rehausser le talent fou du binôme.

Just an awesome performance. The parisian metro suits perfect with their music, the lighting is wonderful, the camera work and the edition is so sweet you want to watch it with popcorn too, and this new formation is simply incredible: each one plays at least 2 instruments. Is brutal the switching game they do with each song (even George can move between drums and percussion now!) Is the band everyone would love to play with. As always, you nailed it guys! You deserve to be where you are at and even farther! KEEP MOVING that good please! So much love from Madrid! And thank y'all for this beautiful piece ARTE!
