That van at the end there, what a disgrace! Absolutely nothing wrong with using the pavement there: it was either that or end up under his wheels.

I’m not a big fan of cyclists on certain roads especially busy built up areas, but I’m a ex motorcyclist and have got a keener eye for cyclists, and so more aware of them. I always give them top respect on the roads, and always treat them well. They have alot more to lose in a collision with a vehicle. Please be aware and take care of cyclists and motorcycles👍

But, seriously, I always think of it this way:
On any given journey we pass or interact with hundreds of perfectly safe drivers. And that's true whether we're in a car, on a bike, or on foot. But we only remember the few that can't, or worse still, won't, follow the rules. Whilst their numbers are definitely increasing, they're still (thankfully) in the minority.
