Honestly I would be elated with this apartment. There's space, it's not a studio, and all the shops are walking distance. You're gonna deal with noise most places you go. When I moved to San Francisco, my first apartment there was a studio in the Tenderloin which is way worse neighborhood than NoHo and it still cost $950.
Who cares about views if I have a roof over my head for that cheap?
But I guess I just prioritize differently.
