Sven-Göran Eriksson will join the management team of Liverpool FC for an uncoming charity match against Ajax Legends on 23 March. The 76-year-old revealed earlier this year that he has been diagnosed terminal cancer, stating that he had "at best about a year" to live. His joining the Liverpool management team follows a campaign by the club's fans to grant him his wish to manage Liverpool, which he disclosed last month.
