Getting older I'm sure there will be 1000 music bands begging her playing bass with them...! Just now at this point Ellens skills are unbelievable - wow!!! Why not trying to meet Leland Sklar - the old man with his experience of 50 years playing the bass live and in the studio? He was the "Bass Man" playing often concerts with Phil Collins and many other superstars! I believe this could be a great gig!!! Chapeau, little lady - I'm sure you'll make your way! 😍

From my eyes and my ears…. Flawless! I am more and more impressed with every video. As a bass player, I cannot commend you enough. The other day I was having a conversation about favorite players and when it came to bass I said Billy Sheehan, Dana Strun, Ellen Alaverdyan, Geddy Lee and that’s in no particular order. This Muse song isn’t easy to play and you just made it look like it was cake. Girl, keep it going. You are a phenom. And you are doing something very special. Mad love to dad, I think it is absolutely amazing what you do and your role in Miss Ellen’s growth. Keep the focus and keep playing, everything… pop to metal to jazz to Latino to east listening, everything… every song you learn, will teach you more and more. It could be something as simple as a Poison song banging on 3rd fret E string to something from Flea. I am very proud of and I am super excited to see where you go. Congrats kiddo, you are well in your way to greatness!

I hope she has a brighter future as a bassist. She enjoys doing what she loves here. And I also hope Chris Wolstenholme (Muse bassist) watches this and realises he's also an inspiration. That guy is really underappreciated. Great technique, stamina and tone. He once jokingly said: "I hate playing Hysteria. It hurts"

I'm sitting here watching this with tears in my eyes. You've restored a little of my faith in humanity. Seriously, mind blown! Your talent and dedication is like a breath of fresh air amidst the mind-numbing wasteland of social media dumbdumb 'influencers'. Forget the pointless trends and dance challenges, THIS is where the real magic happens! Kudos to you for reminding us what true talent looks like! You earned a subscriber today. Sometimes the YouTube algorithm gets it right.

what non guitarists and bassists need to know about this, is just how EXHAUSTING playing such a bass line is. It's playing every note in perfect time at 92bpm in a finger style without your hand going into a spasm. It takes great technique and a relaxed hand and a LOT of practice. superb stuff Ellen!
