annie lennox is just great. have listened to the original version and personally, i prefer this version... it's marvellous!!!

I like electric guitars, so I like that about Ash's version, but Annie's vocals give the lyrics more of a sense of joy - so I prefer that about her version.
Annie is one of the few people I can say has never butchered a cover...I might like the original just as well or even a little better in some cases, but she always does them justice at least - and often improves on them or brings out something about the original I hadn't noted before.
