Last December was my absolute rock bottom. Exactly 1 year ago was heading home from Durant Oklahoma to Dallas Tx, making my weekly trip to pick up Methamphetamine. This song came on and instantly opened my eyes to how bad my addiction had gotten. Here in just a couple hours I'll be officially 1 year sober and I'm lucky enough to say I have my wife and daughter here to celebrate with me!

My son introduced me to Zach's music a few years ago. He put Old Man on his radio in his truck on a surf trip. He said "this song reminds me of you, dad". I lost my son Joshua tragically this July. My daughter was able to recover his songs from his Spotify playlist. This song was on there. It played at his funeral. I'm grateful for your music Zach. Glad to hear you on the radio nowadays. God bless and thank you. #longlivejosh

Zach, when this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you 💕

I think his songs remind us of a time when things felt slower. When days lasted longer and were spent with friends, family, or alone. When days and nights weren't consumed by screens and constant media grabbing at our attention. Even his videos show this, just people living in the moment with their friends, pets, family, etc... In this hyper-digital world it is nice to come across an artist who isn't overproduced, and a voice that reminds us of the old days. Put his music on and spend an afternoon with your kids, go for a drive with a view, play with your dog in the yard, or just lie in bed with your lover.

Been listening to this guy on youtube for years. Today I had to drive my best friend (my dog) to the vet to say his final goodbye and this song came on the radio. You made it man. You finally made it. Last song my Frankie boy ever heard. He always loved just laying out in the sun and basking. Now everytime I see the sun's orange hue across the sky I'll think of my buddy. "But I miss you in the mornings when I see the sun."
