I know this is a dumb question, but how did you do this? I tried to get hirelings and was told my party was full.

I read, but haven’t confirmed, that if you have Gale cast Warding Bond he can’t be killed while in camp. 😳

3:04 - ever since Patch 6, Transmuter Stone gets destroyed if you dismiss the caster. So Transmutation Wizard doesn't have to go to level 6. Needs only level 2 feature.
Edit: Interestingly, despite patch notes, I noticed you didn't lose the buff.

If you decide that you don't need Gale in your party, you can make him a cleric to put warding bond on you, and he'll actually heal himself.
