Can you imagine a world where everything just always goes right in a van build? Like zero issues? Me either. Great video, bro. That was an insane journey in a tiny amount of time.

Kevin. Tremendous perseverance. So glad that you made it safely! On trips like that, live stream! My daughter asked if you were a mechanic!! I told her no! She said you can fix anything.

Great video Kevin, All your videos have been so educational but this one gave an excellent example of how things can go wrong and how well you handled it.

Wow Kevin! I knew your plans probably coincided with this cross country storm system. Glad Taylor and Wyatt flew. Good call. Sorry about the panel and star link loss. That sucks. Exciting video. Glad everyone’s safe. Good luck on the rest of the journey. 🤞

1. You are a beast to have gotten throught this! 2. This is my absolute worst nightmare. 3. Gloves. 4. How were you driving 75 sheesh! But seriously, this is actually my worst nightmare. When that sway assist comes on, my heart drops.... I was stationary during those winds you went through and my van was swaying and shaking, I could not have imagined driving in those winds. You stayed very calm during all of it, I think I would have risked my life in the grass on the side of that highway just to see what happened. Thank goodness that your panels are not the big metal/reg ones. I feel like they could all be dangerous coming off but my metal ones would definitely taken someone out.. That guy in the truck cleary witnessed your panel being ripped off... I am super glad you`re safe and hopefully the drive back will be all fun and no problems! I'd love to know what your set up for those front facing/road facing camera is and how to install.. Best wishes for the ride back!

I just watched this. You guys don’t need to explain yourself to anybody. You are great parents. There’s always somebody out there that doesn’t get it. Keep doing what you do!

Wow you were not kidding when you said you had to go quickly. Wow what a trooper. Safe drive my friend. Love me some Wawa. We go to Florida every year, and now there is one in vero beach. Love sheetz also. Charleston gas is around 2.80 now. But gets up around 3. Not sure about diesel. Sorry to hear the news. Man what a journey. 😂 glad you made it. Also a blessing Taylor and little dood Wyatt didn’t have to brave the issues.

Dude, I have had this same trip. The oil problem. I didn’t lose a solar panel but a panel came loose. EVERY time the wind assist kicks on, it scares the S#$T out of me. But then I turned north to Colorado. And I have stayed in that same Walmart parking lot in Oklahoma City. Sorry you had a rough drive.

Hey Kevin thanks for the video. Now I can worry about my solar panels the whole trip out west next week!

Try replacing the cable first. We got the exact same message and it was the cable. If it gets a a pinch or bad bend in it,the Starlink will stop functioning

Oh man , Kevin! My heart broke for you when that solar panel broke off! 😢 You amaze me at how you look at the bright side of so many situations😊 Fingers crossed about the starlink🤞

That's one of my pet peeves with modern vehicles Kevin. The general public is so ignorant regarding their vehicles now days, that companies are needlessly removing common sense aspects of their products, much to chagrin of those of us that still know what's going on. The fact that 90% of people now don't know how to check their oil, let alone pop their hood, is a disgrace. You can't rely on an oil level sensor. If that sensor fails in an "all good" state and your engine burns oil... Well then kiss that engine goodbye! Sucks about the solar panel blowing off the roof, but great video nonetheless. Would have liked to see a little more of the "systems" aspect on stops and less of the driving, but still a great video! Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Sev
