Romy’s artistry and talent are astonishing. I feel sorry for the people who don’t get what an amazing talent she is. The visuals are only one aspect of her artistry. The message and craft of the music isn’t about promoting evil. Far from it. Romy isn’t hating the world. Her music and all of it are about loving the world even though so many aspects of it are messed up, needy, and broken. Her music has such depth and meaning, it is something of a crime to presume to categorize it. All I can say is I hope Romy has what she needs in life to keep making art. If the visuals or music are shocking to some people, that’s good. That means they’re freaking LISTENING.
