I feel melancholic about a past that I didn't live

This song makes me feel so melancholic because I used to hear it a lot with my friends back in highschool, skipping classes, going to parties, doing drugs... you know. Now IĀ“m 31 and have a formal job and many of my friends live far away, and eventhough I enjoy life in a different way (a better way actually) I know those highschool year will never come back. A couple years ago we all went to a festival and the strokes played that night... I cried with this song and have the time of my life. Thank you Strokes for the great memories.
