Now for the premise/story for those who are wondering! ^^ Runningsky is one of two medicine cats in ShadowClan. After caring for a wounded apprentice named Snowpaw, he falls in love with her. Snowpaw is later tragically killed by a weasel. Snowpaw's older sister Hazelgaze is the other medicine cat and looks similar to her. Runningsky and Hazelgaze get together, but it's not a true love or healthy relationship. Hazelgaze has Runningsky's kits and keeps their father secret from the rest of the clan, but their existence causes her to be demoted from medicine cat. Hazelgaze and Runningsky's relationship grows basically hostile. Runningsky decides to leave ShadowClan and shares his decision with the deputy, Weaselfeet, who escorts him out of the territory. Runningsky finds new freedom outside the clan.

This PMV is so lovely, and the style (simplistic and pretty) and how it's done in pencil, really matches the song!! (It is done in pencil, I presume?) I love how it shows Snowpaw with the kits, and then how it transitions to the cat being Hazelgaze with the petals/leaves/whisps (sorry, not sure what they're called), that was really creative.
As for the story, awww, I feel really badly for all the characters involved. Snowpaw died, Hazelgaze's and Runningsky's relationship was not true, and Hazelgaze was demoted from medicine cat. If I may ask, did Runningsky fall for Hazelgaze because she looked a lot like her sister? And did Hazelgaze become mates with Runningsky because she genuinely loved/liked him? What became of the kits afterward?
At least Runningsky can start a new life with his newfound freedom. I do hope he finds happiness where ever he went off to.

Ah this is so beautiful and so well made! I love how itâs done traditionally and made with simple gradients; it really helps pull the focus on the story rather than the composition. Itâs also amazing how each character is so distinct from one another even with the limited colors. I love this so much!
