This song and last Christmas will forever tie me to George Michael until I die... I first knew about last Christmas as I was at a supermarket, and it kept playing in my head. Ever since then, that song and Careless Whisper, the two biggest highlights for George Michael in 1984 really gave him the spotlight. Not only the two songs he made that year but has been nominated his top best songs of all time next to Freedom '90, Faith, and praying for time. Although those maybe the general highlight songs, I will always appreciate all the rest of the songs he has made not only from his solo career but Wham! as well. And the sad thing is, I never knew about him until late 2019... I listen to George religiously now because I never got to know about him during my childhood, which makes me more sad than ever. If any George's family sees this comment, it would be such an honor. Much respect for him and every remaining family members of his! 😭😭😭😭 I wish I was born into the 80s... I HATE my generation.
