I'm 18 now, and my skin behaves. But when I was like 12 all the way to 17, I had the WORST acne, which I was so insecure about. And having brown skin made it even worse. I remember Adriennes' older videos on skincare, and I always appreciate the product reviews! 😩

30 year old acne fighting combo oily & sensitive skin girly here. 👋💕 A couple of years ago, I made a rule that i wasnt going to allow myself to impulse buy skincare anymore. As long as a product doesnt make me breakout, i have to finish the bottle before i can try a different brand. It was a way to make myself more intentional, save money, and also not stress out my skin by trying 30 different things at once.
I'm excited to try some of your recommendations once some of my current skincare products run out! 💕

I had mild acne when I was 13-17 or so. It went away basically on its own and then when I was 24 it came back suddenly. Visiting a dermatologist was the best decision I’ve ever made. I take Spironolactone both in the morning and at night. I use clindamycin lotion in the morning and tretinoin at night. I also use a Cerave moisturizer. I used to think moisturizing would be bad for acne but it’s actually the best thing you could do for your skin, no matter if you have acne or not, dry or oily skin.
