1:55 Jidanbo, if you don't already know, has a brother, Jirobo, a 4th seat from Squad 7. Jirobo appeared during the early Soul Society arc and he fought Uryu and Orihime.
14:40 It was never really explained, but I guess people in Soul Society don't necessarily age with time, but instead there could be certain conditions that make them age more considering that some age faster than others.
15:08 Yhwach is pronounced in Japanese as Yuhabaha, but I read somewhere that it's pronunced as Yuhavach in German or something.

12:00 I also agree that it was pretty emotional. Ever since his death you basically see Yama raring to avenge Chojiro. After the briefing is concluded what is his first question? "Where is the enemy?" At the funeral, no words spoken since he hasn't avenged him yet. When the war broke out, he stood waiting for his killer to out himself. When he heard the Bankai being released, he closed his eyes and thought of Chojiro, knowing that to see anyone else but him use it would be a grave offense. Then finally being able to give him the send off he wanted to give him after days of waiting. Yeah, you are right, it is pretty emotional.

Another lovely reaction and here's some points I'd like to point out, If you go back to the manga byakuya here was way more injured the way he's rip cage was all exposed and clearly lost an arm but the anime toned it down to avoid later fuzz. As for Sternritter Y they're actually twins, one killed by kenpachi and the other by Yamamoto. AIZEN and YHWACH meeting was an anime original, in the manga it was only mentioned but Kubo now is involved and expanding the source material more and more!

Wow! You got episodes 5-6 up so quickly! I really enjoy your enthusiasm for Thousand Year Blood War! I can relate to feeling overrun by the pace - so much information in a flash!
The Japanese pronunciation of Yhwach (alternative spelling Juha Bach) is YOU-ha-BAH-ha. In English it's YOU-ha BOK. It's derived from YHWH (or JHVH) - the Hebrew "tetragrammaton" - the letter-scramble of the letters that stand for the true name of God. When Yhwach first appeared on earth some people mistook him for the God of Abraham and called him by that name.
You mentioned Taguchi's lighting and use of color again in these episodes. For me the best moment was the bright white daylight when Yamamoto activated bankai.
The Sasakibe flashback expands the revelation of his bankai shown in the manga. It goes farther back into Soul Society's past than anything we've seen up to this point (about 2000 years).
You've realized that all the Sternritters have letters (called "Schrift") based on the Latin alphabet (like the Esapda had numbers) and each letter represents a name that reveals something about the power that Sternritter was given. So of course you can conclude that there are ...29 Sternritters? (...but there are only 26 letters...WTF?) Well, you saw that both the Lloyd brothers had "Y" (the Yourself) as their Schrift? So, two "Ys". In the manga, the meaning of all but two of the Schrift (K and N) are revealed, and the anime may not reveal that many and I think the manga made them a bigger point than the anime has.
I think Äs Nödt voice actor Yoshitsugu Matsuoka deserves an award for that creepy performance!
You mentioned Yamamoto and how much older he looks than he did even 1000 years ago: aging is inconsistent among Bleach characters. Look at Sasikibe: he's around 2000 and probably the second or third oldest member of the 13 Court Guard Squads, but he looks a generation or more younger than Yamamoto.
I did kinda' wondered how you would react to the "bugs on Byakuya" scene. Or the "shredded, one-armed Byakuya wall-hanger" scene. Your reaction was really interesting: you enjoy seeing characters you like "in shambles" and helpless, and I'm wondering if you'd expand on that thought?

1:50 😭 Gin. In case you want to cry more there's an old manga extra chapter in the Soul Society that gives us a glimspe of Gin and Rangiku's childhood
It's in Chapter 12.5 of Bleach, some sites have it as Chapter 168.5, but it has the rooftop scene from Ending 3 of Bleach where Aizen, Toshiro, Rangiku and Momo are watching the fireworks at night.
Pages 9 and 10 shows how important Gin is to Rangiku imo. Really wish they animated it in the original anime
LONG COMMENT: Random Information about Bleach character names from this chapter:
The chapter name is actually very beautiful imo, "Blooming Under a Cold Moon".
This is a side chapter right before Chapter 169, where Aizen stabs Momo
The "Blooming" refers 4 characters in this chapter.
To Hinamori Momo because her name also means Young Peach Forest. Her Zanpakuto is Tobiume, which means Flying Plum, representing vitality and renewal (which is why she is so resilient).
Rangiku's name means a disorderly Chrysanthemum flower, a type of pattern used in embroidery. She also reflects the "Blooming" in the title of the chapter.
The "Cold" ofc refers to Toshiro, whose name is a homophone for White Winter. But what's interesting is his Bankai, "Daiguren Hyorinmaru" means "Grand Crimson Lotus Ring" so like a lotus he also blooms by the river bank, which is why Toshiro has that attack vs Haribel where 100 Lotus Flowers "Bloom".
Random side note but Toshiro's Bankai name "Grand Crimson Lotus Ring" is the direct translation for one of the cold rings of Buddhist hell, Mahāpadma, the Lotus hell. There's a lot of characters in Bleach that reference Buddhist deities and hells, like Komamura's Kokujo Tengen Myo-oh, or Mayuri's Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo.
Back to the chapter title, the "Moon" refers to Aizen. His Zanpakuto is Kyoka Suigetsu, meaning "Mirror Flower Water Moon". The moon reflects on the river bank just as a mirror does, resembling a flower, but it is only a fleeting illusion. The moon is often a motif in Bleach, like Ichigo's "Zan"getsu", "Getsu"ga Tensho, or Renji seeing Byakuya as the moon, and himself as the stray dog looking at the moon, unable to reach it. Byakuya says Renji can jump to reach it, but will only lunge at the fake moon in the water, drowning himself.
The chapter ends with the fireworks blooming like a flower, then fading away, where Toshiro says that all people can hope for is to bloom before they fade. Of course Aizen next chapter makes them fade lmaoo
There's a few important extra chapters in Bleach for symbolism named "Side A" and "Side B" that go into Ichigo's motivations in a very abstract way related to the moon, sun, and the grains of sand that represent fate, they're definitely worth reading. They were kinda skimmed over in Episode 227 but skipped some important details that can affect the story later

In case you were confused about the sternritter Y, they are twins, first killed from kenpachi and second is killed from head captain Yamamoto, plus the scene with byakuya, did you notice that his left arm was missing?
