There was a constant pushing and pulling between the two, first they’re in love, then they aren’t, or that’s how Light thought it was. After watching her almost jump off the roof, he saw it clearly: He was the one doing the pushing. He thought nothing much of it, he was sure she’d come back to him like she always has, but that was a false reality.

Charli barely even looked in his direction anymore. He tried to get her back, but it was all futile. Now he looks back on that fateful day when Charli slipped away, what if this and that. No matter how much he reflects and wonders what he could’ve done differently, it won’t change what happened. It won’t ever be the same.

Now she’s gone and he can’t ever get her back...
