It's super satisfying to see that even after 15 years, the legacy that is Dead Space is proven to be timeless and aged like a fine wine. I'll never forget the first time I played the PS3 demo and faced off against Necromorphs in absolute darkness. This is what it was like all those years ago in my head

He touched on such a good point at the beginning. Isaac talking makes the game MORE immersive, not less. An unnaturally silent protagonist sticks out as a much less relatable self-insert than the character Gunner Wright played, who is this competent everyman. Such a good choice.

some of the camera work in dead space 2 in cutscenes is still unreached by any other game. the way he runs away from the train while it explodes or the scene where the huge monster breaks the vacuum seal and isaac and the monster get sucked into space. the landing from space into the buildings roof. so many fantastic camera shots

The original Dead Space games are not only some of my favorite survival horror games but some of my favorite games of all time. This was so fun to watch. One thing I would HIGHLY recommend is trying out the 3D audio for the remake, its the best 3D experience in my opinion.
