Today weโ€™ll make the Fog Cutter! This was one of Trader Vicโ€™s most popular drinks during the classic tiki era. With multiple base spirits, juices, and syrup - this drink is dangerous. My version of the cocktail is inspired by a few different variations, while still maintaining the spirit of Trader Vicโ€™s original recipe. Hope you all enjoy this one! Cheers!

I have to say, every time you alter a classic recipe, they always end up better on my end. So thank you for that. P.S. I'm jealous of your hair.

I was lucky enough to find Pisco without having to go to the city on a whim tonight. I'm definitely a big fan of any time I can skip juicing oranges for tiki! I found that a bit of the Elemakule Tiki Bitters added a nice touch for the nose, personally. Thanks for the recipe Anders!

Please do some more tiki this spring and summer. I love your videos, how you really breakdown the history and various takes on them etc. This is really what makes me love cocktails, the history and craft of it. Bravo as always.

Best ad spot ever. Paul McGee's version is the one I've been making for the last couple years. As soon as you said you drew inspiration from him, I knew I'd need to try it

I've made the original, and this is an improvement, even though I didn't have all the ingredients. I used the Brandy, like the original, and sweet vermouth instead of sherry. The result was delicious. Maybe someday I'll be able to assemble it as per your specs. Great cocktail!

One of my favorites. I like to make it with half brandy and half pisco which is the Smuggler's Cove way. I also do half Mai Tai syrup and half Orgeat which makes it drink a little like an Orange Julius, a childhood favorite
