I'm with Haley--I enjoyed the chaos. There's chaos in the rules being confusing lol. It was engaging and pushed the contestants into some interesting dishes (which was refreshing given earlier episodes)

I'm with LaTonya and Curt, if your (very qualified) host/judge doesn't understand the rules, the rules are probably too confusing or vague. Kirsten mentioned she was still confused by the time she sat down to judge. Granted, she said it jokingly, but I don't think it was entirely a joke. Seeing Rasika and Michelle in the bottom was rough after so many good weeks

I recommend watching Bake Squad for those who are fans of the Milk Bar. There used to be on in Harvard Square, so I wonder if they had a problem with overexpansion.

This season feels a little off, but I'm still willing to give it a chance, especially since Padma's premiere was in arguably the worst season in Season 2. If Top Chef can survive Ilan and head shaving, it can survive this. I do wonder how much criticism is due to Wisconsin being the next season after an ambitious World All-Stars event with Padma's swan song being a huge success.

I def see both sides to the argument hereā€¦ the TOTAL lack of boundaries/rules was a little overwhelming. BUT pushing the chefs out of their comfort zone was worth it. It seems like theyā€™ve been playing it safe the last few weeks and thatā€™s NOT good tv.

I came here to react to Curtā€™s reaction to the Chaos Menu challenge. YES! Also, I did not watch The Bear. I did not enjoy feeling out of the loop watching the episode. Love yā€™all!
