Just a suggestion. When you are ready, donate everything in the nursery and pull off the wallpaper.
Don't leave anything in the room that would be a reminder of this trauma.
When the time is right and you have a baby in your arms and signed adoption papers in your hand then bring in everything new.
Don't worry about the room not being ready.
Your family and friends will watch over you and bring your nursery vision to life.
I hope that you will continue to talk to your family and friends about this traumatic experience.
They are sometimes the best therapist you could have.
Write a letter to this woman (you don't have to mail it) and purge everything that you feel onto that paper.
Then take the letter outside and burn it.
You might be amazed at how much better you feel.
You or Dallin could read the letter aloud.
You might want to have a few friends over when you do this. Those that truly have your back.
