I agree except that in my opinion it is the best (Aussie) album of the year. as an Australian myself, I'm super proud to live less than an hour's drive from where these guys started out and I may be a little biased but I think they're incredible and one of the most underrated bands of all time

I just heard this week's episode of the Indiecast Podcast and I was shocked that Steven didn't even mention the new Gang of Youths album as a contender for album of the year. It's a masterpiece. It takes some listens to synthesize all the elements in the mix of the album, but it's such a massive career achievement.
