All I want is for my sister to be able to go to her classes without hearing people yell at her every morning. They should protest in DC, I don’t think protesting at Washington Sq Park or 115th St is going to do much.

Unfortunately, such intimidation is typical behaviour of Islamists. I have lived in the Middle East and experienced similar behaviour because of my religion. It appears that you have hundreds of students with Middle Eastern backgrounds. As long as you do not have effective strategies it will get worse. People will not suddenly change their attitudes because they came to the USA.
