I read an article recently about a freshwater lake deep in Asia (I think it was Russia) that has a population of seals. Apparently the lake was never even remotely connected to the ocean and scientists were trying to figure out how the seals got there. The best they could surmise was that at some point in the past they swam up small streams and then walked across the land for some distance to reach the lake.

Neil visited our town a few times last year... He went to the post office, one morning he ended up in the gutter outside the church 🤣 and he's still at it, popping up in other towns along the coast lol!
