At 1:09, you reminded me of a French comedy sketch that goes "There's a difference between good hunters and bad hunters. The bad hunter, he has a gun, sees something move, he shoots. Whereas the good hunter, he has a gun, sees something... Well he also shoots, but he's a good hunter"

27:38 let me just say that the cookie clicker clone on mobile is NOT made by the creator of the web cookie clicker game. You can also clearly notice it due to how different the game plays. I think the mobile game is noticably far worse than the web one mainly due to lack of content and overload of what kind of money making sceme these other mobile incrementals have.

Him: The most time consuming of all idle games...
My Youtube: gives me an ad.
Me: Yes, the youtube advertisment is the most time consuming and useless of all idle things.

Cookie Cliker does NOT have a mobile version. The cookie clickers app is a copycat made by a company to steal the concept from Ortiel who works very hard on the actual game and itās not even good. The Cookie clickers app has no ascension system and is very slow. No-one should ever play it. Please play the browser version instead
Edit: cookie clicker does have an app BUT itās ONLY ON ANDROID and doesnāt have as many features yet. This comment was made before the android version came out and this edit was made November 2020 so if youāre reading this even later maybe it is caught up idk

I have family who struggle with game addiction, and personally I've also noticed some games I've played left me feeling kinda... raw and unfulfilled. I'd think I was having fun while playing, but taking a break and taking stock, I'd realize I was very unhappy with the time I'd spent and also not feeling good overall from playing. It's not easy to draw hard lines for what's good vs bad for you, but IMO clicker games are the perfect recipe to create an addiction and start exploiting people. There's a reason they're so prevalent on mobile, the king of addiction abuse and whale hunts. I agree with your conclusion: I don't recommend idle games to people, and there's a lot of other games that would treat them better.

I'm so envious of your style, with the black and white split contrast with a retro, indie style, so creative and original. I know that's a minor thing for most people, but it's so cool to have such a memorable and instantly recognizable identity. And a first video? This is insane, from the editing, the production, the writing, the research. This is awesome, your growth is insane, can't wait to see where you go from here. This is the first one I've had recommended to me, time to binge them.

I have played literately every single one of these games that you mentioned were better then the rest, and its no wonder why they stayed on my phone for so damn long. Also soda dungeon 2 is out and it is waaaaaaayyyyyy better than the previous while still keeping the same premise, charm, and atmosphere. I love it when a game does that

A huge and honest thank you to everyone who has watched, commented, and subscribed! At the beginning of March I had 180 subscribers and 6000 views, so to be here nearing the end of march with 3800 Subscribers and 144,000 views (and still climbing) is overwhelming to say the least! Outside of this, life has been a bit crazy, but I will be uploading some more videos soon! In the meantime, you can follow the RE twitter (@RealityEscapeYT) or my personal twitter (@ghostboy259) for more updates. I super appreciate everyone who has left a positive comment. And to those who disagree with me or feel I left something out, I appreciate you being a part of the conversation! We all have our own opinions about these games, these are just mine. Thanks again and I hope to see you all around <3 -Ghostboy259
