the thing with this game is that if you donāt skate irl the controls seem really hard to understand and feels not logicalā¦ but if you skate irl you can just think about how you would do it irl and the controls make alot of sense and feel amazingā¦ like riding switch just feels like im riding switch irl its amazing

It's actually really cool. The controls sometimes make me feel like I'm 16 again trying a new trick on repeat. It takes time but games like these are always worth it to me.

man even if youāve never skated in real life, if you try this game and love it, you go around the map, find one cool spot and try your trick over and over again unto the rail while having fun despite failing over and over until you nail the trick and get that satisfying feeling, you pretty much have the heart of a skater

Purely from a vanilla game standpoint, this game is 10x better than Skater XL, has pretty much everything XL fails to have, from built in stats menu, to a bigger trick selection to more and bigger maps. Some animations are still a bit rough but it's more forgiving when you can tweak physics at least. Creature actually listen and know what the community wants unlike Easy Day who blatantly disregard the in game stats menu request for XL. 100% recommend Session if you're on console or just wanna play the vanilla game.

The PS5 version is a solid 9 for me. Runs like a dream and Iām truly blown away by how much they polished the game from the last beta update. Really there arenāt many bugs remaining, definitely nothing that kills the immersion for me. Fantastic game, the devs should be applauded.

From what I've seen, the reason that sometimes your skater just collapses while pushing on your board is because you're Mongo pushing, when you push regular it doesn't seem to happen.

Controls are DEFINITELY hard but because they're so complex they offer a really really high ceiling for how real you can make your skating look. Overall loving this game.

Game is legit epic. Probably was the toughest learning curve out of any game I've ever played but once you spend enough time with it (20-40hrs) the reward is seriously fun and addictive. Been skating for over 20 years game is heaven
